The GenYeasTrait Genome Browser

A resource dedicated to the analysis of molecular basis of wine yeast
fermentation traits through a combined genetic and genomic approach

The GenYeasTrait project was supported by a grant of the French National Research Agency (ANR GenYeasTrait 2007-2010).
Partners: SPO, INRA Montpellier, France | MIG, INRA Jouy-en-Josas, France | LISBP, INSA Toulouse, France

This projet aims at identifying the genetic basis of wine yeasts fermentation traits. It combines a classical QTL approach with a gene expression study between an industrial wine yeast strain (EC1118) derivative (59A) and the laboratory yeast strain (S288C). Information produced during this project (SNP, QTL, eQTL...) are accessible on the Genome Browser using the 'Select Tracks' tab.
