The BSFA project

The 17 partners of the European functional analysis project of Bacillus subtilis have disrupted 1146 unknown genes, out of the 4100 identified on the chromosome of the bacterium. You will find in this site three kinds of results :
  • GROWTH CURVES OF STRAINS in Rich and Minimal medium
  • REPORTER GENE ACTIVITY of STRAINS
  • SYSTEMATIC DETERMINATION OF PHENOTYPE (which is positive for 543 genes)
