1. Download FILTREX-3.0 (R2015a): file FILTREX-3.0.tar.gz or FILTREX-3.0.zip
2. Optionally, download the examples FILTREX-EX-3.0.tar.gz or FILTREX-EX-3.0.zip
3. Uncompress this file ( "tar" or "unzip" commands)
4. At the first use of FILTREX, compile the C programs by running the "compil.m" file (located in the FILTREX top directory) in a MATLAB session
5. Then, to start FILTREX, run "filtrex.m" in a MATLAB session
