sliceEmbl:
Perl-script to built DNA sequence-files from a EMBL-file

FUNCTION:

This Perl script builds as many DNA sequence-files as there are different sequences in a EMBL-file. Each created file is written in a conventional format suitable for using our programs.

USAGE:

sliceEmbl [-e]   EMBL-file-name
-e: excludes all the sequences containing "sequence unknown" in the field SQ.

OUTPUT:

As many files as different sequences in the EMBL-file are created. Their names are the names of the sequence they contain.
