This site displays distant homology relationships between viral proteins, from 876 bacterial, and 40 archaeal viruses (database pgc2).Homology is detected by iterative HMM-HMM comparisons between phage proteins (pre-computed) and displayed within genetic context. Computation time will take up to 7 minutes, please be patient. The user cannot submit its own genome.
